Electric Actuator (Temperature Blend Door)
Temperature blend door is controlled by an electric actuator (motor). The actuator is located on top of A/C evaporator housing. Temperature blend door actuator contains a reversible electric motor and a potentiometer. The potentiometer provides blend door position feedback to EATC module.

Removal & Installation (Temperature Blend Door)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Loosen instrument panel and pull it back for access to electric actuator on top of heater case.
Remove electrical connector from bracket on A/C evaporator housing. Remove 2 screws that secure actuator to mounting bracket. Lift actuator straight up about 1/2" (12 mm) and remove it.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Disconnect positive battery cable for 30 seconds to calibrate actuator. Reconnect battery cable. When power is supplied to the control panel, the actuator will be automatically calibrated.
