I drove the vehicle to work one day perfectly fine until one hour later. I get back in to start it up and it doesn't start. After about a week and a half I go back to check on the vehicle and verify that the fuel pump is engaging. This is after checking to make sure that the inertia switch is ok as well. I've yet to check the fuel relay but figured that if the pump is engaging then it should be good. The engine turns over normally just no ignition. I've even tried jumping it and even that didn't work. I'm not sure if it should take that long for the fuel pump to depressurize (week and a half), but there were some attempts during that time period. I never heard the pump engage until a week or so later.

check for spark. if no spark then most likely you will need a new ignition control module.
