Shakes or Wobbles problem
1996 Ford Explorer V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1996 ford explorer 5.0 v8. Recently I replace the egr, evr, fuel pressure regulator, and the pcv valve. After I put it all back together and started it up and turned it off is when I started hearing air escaping from somewhere but couldnt find it. I hooked it up to a smoke machine and nothing came of it. Now it has a slight rough idle to it and since its idling rough you can smell fuel and rotten eggs out the exhaust when running long enough. Is there a special procedure that I was suppose to do when replacing the fuel pressure regulator? Or do you think that the gasket might have slipped in between the upper and lower intake manifold? Any help would be wonderful. Thank you for your time.

Is there a tip or trick to keeping that gasket from slipping due to the fact that there is no room to slide it in place especially the rear bolt that likes to hide itself under the firewall. Thank you. Also would that cause air to leak out when the key is turned off? Like air escaping? If that gasket isnt on right?
