When we are not pushing the brake it makes a buzzing sound. But when we do push the brake it stops. Also the ABS light is on. What would be the cost? What can we do to make it stop?

For now remove the ABS fuse in the fuse box, this will disable any ABS pumps that might be the cause of the buzzing, then have a garage that can read ABS "C" codes hook it up to thier scanner, remember to re install the fuse before they scan it, once you have the code(s), you can find and fix the bad part.
