At intermitint times the power windows quit working while at the same time the 4 wheel drive lights blink on dash. There has to be a bad relay. But what is it and where is it ai?

Honestly, they are not tied together, so this is a good question. When this happens, will the 4wd work?

Let me know.

Im not sure, I never attempted to engage or disengage from 4wd while it was happining. In some of my research, I am seeing the GEM mod pop up as the culprit. It seems that a bad GEM can screw up a number of things at the same time sparaticly.

It could be that. What has happened is the windshield will leak a slight bit and drip water on to the GEM. As a result, problems start.

THe GEM (I believe) is mounted on the top of the fuse box under the dash in your vehicle. Check it for evidence of water getting to it. As far as I know, that is the only cause of them going out.

Let me know what you find.
