1995 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My oil pressure gauge reads zero. The oil tank is full and the oil was changed eight weeks ago. I have noticed in the past four weeks that the gauge has been fluctuating and reading a little low, but it would go back to normal after I drove for about ten minutes. Now the needle doesn't move.

When at 0psi, do you hear any knocking or ticking from the engine? If so, do not run the engine. If you don't hear any noise, replace the oil sending unit. It is a cheap part and easy to replace.
