About a week ago my Oil pressure gause would be slow to register when starting the engine. The oil is full. Nothing bad, just slow to register. Yesterday the gauge just didn't want to come up. I finally left for work and upon acceleration the needle dropped. When I'd let off it would raise again. I got the oil changed, it was due, and I was thinking perhaps the filter is dead or something. Now the car pings, and idles roughly. What's the scoop?

Thanks for the time.

You need to have the pressure tested with a manual gauge. That way you will know if there is a problem.

Let me know what you find.
