I have trouble after starting my truck, keeping the engine running. It idles very rough and tends to stall unless I put the vehicle in drive or reverse really quick, then it runs ok? Could it be a bad O2 sensor or other type of sensor? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Yes the check engine light has been on since I received the vehicle as a gift back in 2005, it then had 60,000 miles on it. I didn't notice any problems until about a month ago. BTW. Thanks for responding so quick.I love this site :)

What I suggest is to take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the engine. Most will do it for free. Then you will know where the problem is coming from.
