Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I woke up one morning and it was very cold outside i know i had put anti-freeze in awhile back so i didn't think it needed it so i cranked my car up about 20 mins before i left and the heater wouldn't come on and i got about 5 or 10 miles down the road and it started making noises and then soon cut off and it smoked and had a little water come out the tail pipe and my friends dad said i probably have a blown head gasket or i need anti-freeze what should i do?
