While changing out the positive battery terminal end on the explorer, the hood came down and shorted out against the + terminal.
I raised the hood, there were a few sparks and a burnt mark on the inside of the hood where it touched the terminal that was not compeltely installed, and finished the work.
When I started the car up, there were several electrical malfunctions, such as the gauages jumping back and forth, the tach not working, the headlights on very dim, stereo off and on on its own.
Any idea what problems I have created and how to resolve it?
