My explorer wont start, it just clicks one time, I replaced the starter it continues to only click one time. What things can cause the starter to not engage?

Is the battery good? Also, one of the most common causes of what you described is a bad connection at the battery. Remove the battery terminals and clean and tighten them to make sure you have a good connection. Also, have you checked the starter relay? If you have a helper turn the key to the start position, check for power to the smaller wire in the starter. It should have 12+ volts.

Let me know.
