I have a 1994 Ford Explorer that just recently started giving me problems. I replaced the battery and seloniod and yet it still will not start. When I turn the key it makes a clicking sound and will not start. I have been told many different things and have tried everything short of replacing the starter.

Jumper the battery terminal of the starter relay to the S small terminal on it -did the starter engage the engine?
