i recently put on warn manual hubs, and whent to the desert. the 4x4 worked great in high and low range. toward the end of my trip i noticed that there was a noise coming from the front axles (or close to) whenever i was in four wheel drive. it sounds like grinding. the 4x4 still works. and i cant feel it in the steering wheel. no noise whatsoever when in two wheel drive. checked the fluid in the front transfer case. please advise or let me know what else to check. i thought i loobed up the bearings ok when i put them back on the axles. please advise. thanks.

I would recommend removing them and check to see if sand got into them. It sounds like what may have happened.

Let me know.
