1994 Ford Explorer

Ok, last week, I went to go turn my car on, the lights inside, my radio, and all my center consil lights turned on, but my car itself would not click over to turn on. It make a short clicking sound that you can hear from under the hood, but other then that, nothing. Then the other day, I went, and it turned on just fine.

So then again last night, it happened, same thing, all the lights turn on, but the car won't turn on. Again, the same sound.

I have had the battery tested, its still good.
Can you pplease help me!!!

Try this. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. It should have 12+ volts. If it does, replace the starter. If it doesn't, check for power at the starter relay.

Let me know what you find.
