1993 Ford Explorer wont go into gear

1993 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 170xxx miles

i just replaced and clutch, and after bleeding the system I found after startind the explorer that I cant get it into any gear, and even thought its stuck in neutral when I release the clutch it acts like it is in gear and the tires start rotatng, as if it was in a gear. Is this something I did wrong with replaceing the clutch or is this the transmission?

This sounds like the gear shift lever is not installed correctly. You did have to remove it to remove the transmission, eh? When you re-install it, you must take care to line it up with the internal shift linkage. If you miss the slot, it will get stuck in gear, and the lever becomes ineffective.
