i have a 1993 explorer i let it sit for the winter outside..When i went to start it the rpm's shot way up and it was like someone was steppng on the gas so i had to shut it off quick..i think it might be the throttle cable stuck open? What do you think it is?

Thank you,
Tyler

definetely would pop the hood and check to see if the throttle valve is closed and not all the way open, verify it by looking under hte plastic cover on the top or by removing the air intake hoses.
