1993 Ford Explorer changing oil

Received the car a a donation to a summer camp and need to change the oil. There is no owners manual and I need to know what oil weight is recomended to use

From my knowledge ford explorer did not offer a v8 in 1993 they may have but I don't think so

It is an engine code U and therefor a 6 cyl.
