1993 Ford Explorer 4 wheel drive

I just purchased a ford explorer and went to put it in 4 wheel and none of the lights come on and its not in 4 wheel

Hi:
what I need you to do is check to see if there is power to the 4wd actuator on the transfer case. Have a helper run the controls in the truck while you check. If there is power, remove the actuator and have it checked. Chances are it's bad.

Let me know what you find.
