when I got the vehicle it was smoking. I changed the idle air control valve and the air flow unit. It is still smoking. Can you tell me why?

Probable causes of an engine running rich are as follows:

1. Fuel pressure not within specs. Can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see what happens-If the check engine light still On-you have problem with a sensor, its wiring or the computer
