I am pretty sure my universal joint is bad, I was told that it will not effect my everyday driving unless I use the 4 wheel drive. Well besides the vibrations and what not but what will happen when it is completely broken? Do the tires lock up or anything? That is I mean with out using the 4 Wheel drive.

Hi there,

If it is a front shaft, it wont affect the can in 2 WD, in 4X4 you will get a vibration and eventually the uni will fail and you will loose 4X4 for what it is wort it is my opinion that it would be best to get it fixed sooner rather than later.
