1992 Ford Explorer oil level

Please help me find where I check the fluid level on my transfer case. Is it that nut that looks like a very big allen wrench. Thx jamie

Facing the rear of the vehicle, there are two bolts. One is above the other. One is a fill and the other a drain. The one on top is for fill and check. Revove the bolt and the fluid should be to the bottom of the threaded part that the bolt comes out.

As far as the type of bolt, some are torx style, some use a 3/8" ratchet, some are aprox 1 1/4" bolt. If you take a picture and upload it for me, I will tell you exactly which one it is.
