When i drive down the road for about 15 minutes or so (somtimes longer and somtimes shorter) my head lights seem to like to shut off and turn back on randomly. They seem to shut off more often if i have my brights on. I found that by holding the blinker lever to flash somone back, it will keep the lights on and override them if they shut off. Some times they will still shut off if i let it go, but most of the time stay on. What would this be caused by, and how would i fix it?

Have you checked fuses under the hood as well as relays?
