I have a 1992 Ford Explorer and the front driver's side bushing needs to be replace. I've read some sites that tells me it should cost $300 and others say $1000. How much would be a resaonable estimate?

bushing for what? axle pivot bushing, radius arm bushing...? either way, $1,000 is way overpriced for any kind of bushing replacement.
