The lights for my 4 wheel drive and low range stay on, but I know my car is not in 4 wheel drive or low range. I havnt been able to get my car in 4 wheel drive for the past couple years. What could the problem be.

Hi:
Chances are the 4wd actuator on the transfer case is bad. It is a common problem. What I need you to do is check to see if it is getting power when the switch is pushed for 4wd. If you get power to the plug, chances are the actuator is bad.

NOTE: Since all the lights are on, make sure to check the wiring at the actuator to make sure nothing has melted down and the terminals are clean and tight when you plug it back in.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
