Transmission problem
1991 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The vehicle will go into drive but will not go into reverse.
What is my problem?

If the check engine light never came on, it sounds like a problem in the valve body and will need to be checked by a transmission tech.
