1988 Ford Explorer The shifting mechanism is not working.

I need to now the name or part number for the part that has the cable that marks the gear, Its the one that transfer the movement from the shifting stick to the bar that goes to the transmission.

The shifting stick, cant goes to park and feel funny, it does not move well. I have seen the part, but can not find it anywhere.

Its the shifting gear mechanism that goes under de steering wheel. for an explorer 1998 6 cilinders

It is just known as the shift linkage.
