1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer
120k miles 5.3 L Engine

The vehicle failed state inspection. Items that are in need of repair are following:

Emergency brake doesn't hold
Rear wiper inoperable
L. front tie rod bad
rear brake line shot on side of fuel tank

Should we repair the truck or look for a new one? What would the cost of repairing these items be approximately?

Thank you.

A lot depends on if you can get the bleeder screws open? Steel line is pretty cheap stuff, as for the rear wiper, If you simply can't live without it, If you do it yourself, maybee 100.00...Steel lines, 10.00, If you pay it will be considerably more...first the wiper switch and wires and motor will be checke to find out what's bad...shops charge 90.00 and more per hour for electrical testing...Steel lines maybe 100.00 to 150.00, If bleeders open.
