2007 Ford Expedition 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My ford expedition will turn on and sound rough running but want move when i put it into drive or reverse

Does the engine just rev when in gear? Has the check engine light come on? What size engine is it? They didn't use a V6 in the Expedition. Finally, how many miles are on the vehicle?
