2006 Ford Expedition Engine Abnormal Sound

Dear Sir,
I have a problem in my car, which give abnormal sound from the right side camshaft and valve lifter. My question is that, how can I inspect the camshaft and valve lifter for defect? and if it is ok what may be this clicking abnormal sound?

You need to remove the valve cover. If it is a ticking, chances are it is something with the lifter / rocker.
