2005 Ford Expedition Transmission Flushes

I read in another website that it is not necessary to do a transmission flush.. it said the results of it may lead to an engine or transmission replacement.. They advised that only a transmission service is needed..

I'm not sure what type of flush they are refering, but a trans flush only removes all of the ATF and replace it with new. I shouldn't hurt the trans and will not hurt the engine. I, however, like replacing the filter which isn't done with a flush.
