2005 Ford Expedition V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Every time ignition is turned to start enginge the 30 amp starter solenoid fuse blows. I have replaced the starter. it still blew fuse could it possibly be weak battery causing all this trouble? when the small wire going to the starter from the fuse panel is removed from the starter the fuse does not blow.
thanks frank

could be a loose battery connections, corrodded battery connections on the battery, fuse box, starter relay, starter, etc.

could also be a week battery or a faulty starter solenoid causing too much amp draw.
