4 wheel drive low and will not come out?

My ford expedition is in 4 wheel drive low and will not come out. What is the problem and what will fix it?

Hello,

It sounds like an issue with the transfer case control module. That module is what changes the setting after you select it on the switch.
The control module is located on the left hand side B pillar.
In order to access it the interior trim needs to be removed.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.
