Upon acceleration, blower door appears to shift from dash outlets to defrost postion, than returns when engine vacuum load is reduced. Could this be a vacuum hose loose or off, or more likely some type of valve or vacuum component? Thanks in advance for your help.

V8rumble, did you figure out what was causing your problem? I am having the same issue on my 2002 Ford Expedition. Any help you can provide me on how to repair my truck would be great. Thanks
