Engine Performance problem
2003 Ford Expedition V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

is this a critical repair or can I drive with this condition. Car is running a little ruff. Just hit 109k mileage and need to take a trip 250Miles 1 way. when driving back from last trip pushed car aliitle more than I normally do and heard the seal break. I slight air sucking noise is present only when heavy throttle.

Hi:
I can't tell you if it's safe because I don't know where the leak is. What sound did you origionally hear and try to describe the sound now, where it's coming from... If you have a rough running problem, you may want to have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.
