I have recently had the following symtoms. Reverse sensors and mirror tilt-down (when in reverse) stopped working. Autolock feature stopped working. Cruise control stopped working. I tried scanning for trouble codes with my OBD scanner and found that the fuse had blown on that circuit. Replaced that fuse and checked all other fuses and found no others blown. I scanned the computer and no codes showed up. Also the owners manual describes a system check that can be perfromed. When I run that it only checks up to the selsection of the languange then stops and does not go to the next system check which is the auto-lock check. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and still has the same systems. ANY CLUES?

An OBDII reader will not help u in this situation
u need a scanner that allows you to communicate with the BCM
check for B codes NOT P codes

I am having very similar issues with my 2003 Expedition. Did you ever figure it out?
