2003 Ford Expedition 2003 Ford Expedition Tailgate is Stuck

My 2003 Ford Expedition Tailgate is stuck. It won't open from the outside, the window system however does open.

Is there any suggestions on how to get the tailgate "unstuck"?

Appreciate the help.

The only thing you can do is remove the inner door panel. Once removed, you will be able to see if the linkage is disconnected or broken. Try that and let me know what you find.
