I cant seem to get the front rotor off of my truck. I was wondering if I should use heat and then try to hammer it off, or is the rotor also part of the hub for this vehical? There is a king nut on the hub which looks like it could come off, but I didnt think the rotor was attached to the hub. If it is, please let me know.

Thanks

The rotor is not atached to the hub. Try to hammer it off without heat first. If you plan on replacing the rotors, you can smack them from the back side. Use a lot of penetrating spray also. If you are re-using the rotors, you will need to hit them in between the studs. Be careful not to hit the studs, though, or you will have to replace them also.
