2001 Ford Expedition Sensor leaking brake fluid

Hi, my sensor that is connected on the front of the master cyclinder is leaking break fluid. I wanted to know if I n eed to replace the sensor only, or the master cyclinder or both? Please help!

I believe the sensor you are refering to is to shut the cruise control when you hit the brakes. The sensor itself needs replaced not the entire master cylender. Keep in mind, three was a recall on the wiring to the sensor. I believe it included up to 2001. Check with your local Ford dealer to check on that. THe original wiring was causing fires.
