This morning, early, the horn on my 2001 Ford Expedition started blowing and would not shut off. I had to disconnect battery cable to stop it. Any idea what is wrong?

Did the button on the steering wheel stick? If so, there is a spring that may have broken or did you spill anything that could have cause it to stick or bind?
