Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

at times when hiting a rough road area or when the 4W drive is activated the front passenger wheel will begin to make a loud grinding sound and wobbles wehn I put the brake on it will stop if it is ot in 4wheel drive but if in 4wheel drive it will con't to be hard to control and con't to wobble.

Will it wobble and grind when its not in 4wheel? Or just in 4wheel.

I would take off the hub and check to make sure all components are there and not worn or missing first of all.

No the 4 wheel drive is not on and I will go over some rough road or bump, and the wheel will start to wobble and thump, then either coming to a stop or it smooths it self out and we are fine again.

Check for loosenes sin the tie rods, steering knuckles and the ball joints. Hows the wheel bearings look? Endplay wise.
