I was driving home the other night and I heard some rattling as if i was having a flat tire. I then heard noise as if something had fell off car. Then my brakes went to floor. It also felt as if my tire was about to fall off car because it felt wobbly as if the rim was bent. I happen to walk back to the area where this happened and noticed a piece of a brake pad in the street. Could this be a sympton of just missing a brake pad?

If the brake pedal went to the floor, that tells me something more than just the brake pad broke. Have you removed the wheel to check the caliper? It sounds like it came loose and may have broken a brake line.

Let me know what you find.
