I got a code P0401(EGR) how to repair and what parts do I need to replace, what would be labor time?

The EGR is located on the intake manifold. It will take aprox an hour to complete. THere are only a couple bolts that hold it in place. A new one cost around 50 to 100 dollars. Yours may just need cleaned. Carbon builds up in them and then the valve doesn't work properly, so you may want to try that first. Also, make sure where it attaches to the intake is free of carbon as well as the vacuum hose.
