my 2000 expedition has been making a noise when I press the gas pedal (until drive over 50mph) for 2 years. No one knows what it is. I'm at 159,000 miles not sure what to do. It also vibrates from time to time. Other than that it is serving rather well. What could it be?

Does it feel like an engine miss or something in the drive line?

Let me know. Also, has the check engine light come on and have you checked the fuel pressure?
