My 2000 ford expedition was making a banging sound down by the floor when i turned the heater knob to off it would stop.
I took the top of the center console off and disconnect the electrical connector to the motor down by the floor and the sound stopped but i have no temp control the heater blows full hot.
Can that motor be replaced without removing the dash? If so can you tell me how how do it. How doI determine if it is the motor our the blend door?
Can the blend door be replaced without removing the dash?
