1999 Ford Expedition leak

I have a pink fluid coming from a spot just above the frame on drivers side ,looks like a tranfer type box with two hoses one in take one out flow, the fluid runs feom either the connection or a slit in hose but dont know what it is for and where leak quite is can someone tell me what it may be from or to?

If it is pink, it sounds like transmission fluid. Check to see if it is low. Also, check the power steering fluid. Some people use ATF in them.
