1999 Ford Expedition leak

I have a pink fluid coming from a spot just above the frame on drivers side, looks like a tranfer type box with two hoses one in take one out flow, the fluid runs feom either the connection or a slit in hose but dont know what it is for and where leak quite is can someone tell me what it may be from or to?
