No, the push pull rod on the transmission

I'm sorry but do you mean the linkage that shifts the transmission (exterior) or an internal part.

When the truck is put into park, the leaver says it is in R. When it is in R, it is in N etc. I was told the push pull rod that connectes the gear shift to the transmission is what is bent.
