Engine would not start. the lights and radio work but engine would not start. does battery need to be replaced?

Hi:
If you have a volt meter, check to see if the battery is producing at least 12 volts.
Or, remove the battery and have it checked at a parts store. Most will do it for free.
Let me know what you find, and I will further direct you as to what to check.
