Truck runs fine got low on oil and it overheated I put oil in it and not it leaks from the back of the engine, runs off checked underneath and found it might be leaking from the heater hose or the evaporative drain hose there is a maple like smell when I use the defrost but the floor inside on the passenger side is dry

Chances are the heater core is leaking if you smell it in the car. As far as the engine, was it low on coolant or oil?

Yes it was low on oil it was showing hot, then after I put oil in it it went back down to normal, I drove it the rest of the way home. When I got home it started leaking water from the back of the motor, it was clear
