1998 Ford Expedition is it a miss?

When the rpms get to around 1300-1600, the engines feels like it has a terrible miss. Below that range or above it. It is not that bad at all, sometimes not even noticeable. I have changed plugs and even a couple of coil packs that looked like they might be bad, but it hasn't helped at all.

Your probable causes-Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensors.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Fouled/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

One of this components will cause your problem I suggest you check it top to bottom and get back with some testing results so that we can continue, remember were not there with the vehicle your my eyes here-Misfires can be hard to deal with-could be compression/fuel or spark problem
